Position Title: Value Add Production Lead Hand (C2C)

Location: Richmond, BC, V6V 3C8

Starting Minimum: $19.00/hour

Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Position Summary:

The Value-Added Lead Hand plays a key role in supporting daily production and operations within the value-added department. This position assists the Manager in overseeing the value-added line, completing administrative tasks, and ensuring customers consistently receive high‑quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Operations

- Support the daily operation of the value-added production line.
- Prepare value-added products (including bacon-wrapped scallops, salmon burgers, and salmon wellington) according to established specifications.
- Monitor production workflow to meet quality and volume requirements.
- Ensure inventory is adequately stocked based on production demand.

Administrative Duties

- Track inventory levels and communicate with the purchasing team when stock is low.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of orders and shipments.
- Prepare and complete daily butcher shop reports.

Warehouse Support

- Prepare, pack,



and palletize orders as required.
- Assist with general warehouse operations.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous warehouse or production experience is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of seafood processing, value-added production, or inventory management is an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience using pallet jacks is an asset.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset.
- Willingness to work with raw meat products.
- Willingness to work in a cold workplace.
- Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively.
- Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
- Previous work experience is an asset but not required.
- Training will be provided.
- Commitment to safety standards and practices.
