Context

Systra Canada is looking for a V&V; Lead for Transit Projects in Ontario.

Missions/Main Duties

- Develop and maintain the V&V; Strategy and Master V&V; Plan for the SRS scope;
- Define V&V; methods and evidence requirements for each level of requirements;
- Coordinate preparation of test procedures, inspection plans and other V&V; artefacts;
- Track execution of V&V; activities and management of findings / defects;
- Prepare V&V; status reports and contribute to safety case and acceptance documentation.

Profile/Skills

- University degree in Engineering;
- 10+ years’ experience in verification & validation, testing and commissioning or assurance for rail / transit systems;
- Strong knowledge of V&V; planning,



test methods, evidence management and defect resolution;
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders during system testing and acceptance.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario or equivalent;
- Formal training in verification & validation and/or testing/commissioning (CENELEC EN 50126/8/9 or similar) considered an asset
