Afton Scientific is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate I to join our Materials team. This position plays an important role in supporting manufacturing operations by receiving, inspecting, storing, and moving materials while helping maintain accurate inventory and efficient warehouse operations. <

Primary Responsibilities <

- Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against appropriate documentation. < /p> < P>
- Inspect incoming materials for damage or defects and promptly report discrepancies. < /p> < P>
- Complete required receiving and release documentation accurately and on time. < /p> < P>
- Perform incoming material release checks, including garment processing and tray tests. < /p> < P>
- Store and organize materials appropriately and efficiently. < /p> < P>
- Perform inventory transactions, material releases, and system transfers. < /p> < P>
- Conduct cycle counts and participate in physical inventories to maintain inventory accuracy. < /p> < P>
- Deliver packages, collect Kanban cards, and support internal material movement throughout the facility. < /p> < P>
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. < /p> < P>
- Ensure materials are received, stored, and shipped safely and accurately. < /p> < P>
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse and loading dock areas. < /p> < P>

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. < /p> < P>
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. < /p> < P>

- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel. < /p> < P>
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. < /p> < P>
- Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems. < /p> < P>

- Previous warehouse, inventory management, receiving, or material handling experience. < /p> < P>
- Experience with SAP or another ERP/inventory management system. < /p> < P>
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment. < /p> < P>

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as part of routine warehouse and material receiving activities. < /p> < P>
- Ability to work primarily within a warehouse environment. < /p> < P>
- Ability to wear a respirator and other required personal protective equipment. < /p> < P>
