About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Commissioner for Corporate Services. The successful candidate will serve as the most senior financial executive, providing strategic leadership in a range of corporate stewardship functions, including financial management, treasury, development financing, procurement, information technology, and risk management.
The CFO & Commissioner will ensure that all these functions operate as an integrated system, supporting the company's financial sustainability, service delivery, and strategic priorities. This role requires a highly accomplished financial executive and Chartered Qualified Accountant with significant senior leadership experience, particularly in a large, complex public-sector or similarly regulated environment.

Deep expertise in long-term financial strategy,



multi-year budgeting, financial reporting, and the stewardship of public assets is essential.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and trusted advisor, adept at providing clear and objective advice on complex financial, operational, and policy matters. They should be politically astute, collaborative, and highly relationship-oriented, with a proven track record of guiding modernization, transformation, and continuous improvement across multiple corporate functions.

Strong strategic, analytical, and financial judgment is necessary, as is the ability to inspire high-performing teams to deliver integrated, resilient, and responsive corporate services. The CFO & Commissioner will be a key member of the company's Corporate Leadership Team, working closely with the CAO, Regional Council, and senior leadership to ensure the company's financial and operational success.
