Our client is looking for a proactive and organized Warehouse Operations Manager to lead their warehouse facilities. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory control, receiving, order picking, shipping, and staff management. You will focus on improving operational efficiency, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining a secure working environment.
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for essential on-site management of warehouse operations while also accommodating remote strategic planning and administrative tasks in Kimberley .
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all processes.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and company policies within the warehouse.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS ) to track inventory and optimize operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in warehouse operations management.
- Proven experience in managing warehouse staff and operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
