RWDI seeks a motivated Environmental Technician for a full-time position in Windsor, Ontario. This role involves engaging directly with environmental projects focused on testing, assessments, and compliance. In this dynamic role within the Geoscience department, you will contribute to environmental and hydrogeological projects in the Southern Ontario area.
Your tasks will involve comprehensive environmental testing, including sampling of various media, and managing compliance monitoring programs. You will also be responsible for technical reporting and data interpretation, ensuring all work aligns with relevant environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental media sampling to support testing
- Undertake Phased Environmental Site Assessments
- Oversee drilling and data collection activities
- Manage environmental compliance monitoring programs
- Develop summary tables and figures for technical reports Requirements:
- Degree in environmental science, engineering, or technology
- Up to 2 years of related field experience
- Familiarity with CAD/GIS software applications
- Solid communication and teamwork skills
