HCM & Payroll Domain Depth • 7+ years of hands-on experience leading testing for enterprise HCM, Payroll, or ERP implementations, with a robust understanding of the hire-to-retire employee lifecycle

- Demonstrated expertise developing and executing functional scenarios for Core HCM processes such as Hire, Onboarding, Job Change, Compensation, Leave, Termination, and Offboarding
- Strong working knowledge of Workday Payroll, including earnings, deductions, taxes, off-cycle runs, audits, parallel testing, and pay-calculation reconciliation; Puerto Rico payroll experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Workday integrations and cross-system data flows sufficient to define functional acceptance criteria, validate business outcomes, and participate effectively in defect triage; hands-on integration development is not required
- Working knowledge of Workday security as it affects functional testing, including role-based access, business-process permissions, approvals, and segregation of duties

Testing Craft & Execution• Proven experience owning the full functional QA lifecycle for an enterprise HCM, Payroll, or ERP deployment, including strategy, planning, execution, governance, and sign-off
- Ability to independently produce high-quality test strategies, execution plans, scenarios, scripts,



traceability matrices, defect reports, UAT materials, and readiness reporting
- Experience leading parallel payroll testing, coordinating reconciliation, applying tolerance thresholds, resolving discrepancies, and obtaining formal Payroll approval
- Strong defect-management discipline, including clear documentation, severity classification, business-impact assessment, root-cause thinking, and effective routing
- Experience with test-management and defect-tracking tools such as ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Jira, or qTest

UAT Leadership & Stakeholder Orchestration• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional UAT with HR, Payroll, Operations, Finance, Product, and technical stakeholders while driving completion on schedule
- Ability to run focused testing checkpoints, escalate blockers clearly, and influence internal teams and vendor partners to prioritize resolution
- Strong written and verbal English communication, including concise executive reporting and clear articulation of quality risk and go-live readiness
- Experience working with implementation partners and internal technical teams, with a clear understanding of functional, technical, business, and vendor accountability
