Job Title: Workday People Analytics Specialist

Location: Remote(EST)

Position type: Part time(20 hours per week).

Experience Level: 6–8 years in Business Analytics / 3–5 years in Workday People Analytics

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Workday People Analytics Specialist to join our offshore HR Technology team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex HR data and strategic business decisions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data models within Workday People Analytics and Workday HCM.

The ideal candidate has strong core Workday HCM knowledge, 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday People Analytics, and a broader 6 to 8 years of experience using business analytics tools and methodologies. Direct, hands-on implementation experience with Workday People Analytics is highly desired for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Workday Analytics Implementation: Lead or heavily support the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and adoption of Workday People Analytics dashboards and stories.
- Data Modeling & Insights: Leverage Workday Prisma, Discovery Boards, and advanced reporting to build predictive models and deliver actionable workforce insights.
- HR Business Intelligence: Translate complex HR metrics (attrition, retention, diversity, headcount, and talent acquisition) into scannable executive dashboards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with onshore HR leadership, data governance teams, and business stakeholders to align analytics capabilities with organizational goals.
- Workday HCM Configuration:



Maintain a strong understanding of Workday HCM core structures, security groups, and business processes to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting.
- Analytics Best Practices: Apply industry-standard business analytics methodologies to clean, manipulate, and audit large datasets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Workday Expertise: 3–5 years of deep working knowledge specifically within the Workday People Analytics module (including Discovery Boards, Prism Analytics, or standard Workday

Reporting/Matrix reports).
- Analytics Foundation: 6–8 years of experience working with Business Analytics tools and methodologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, or R) applied within a corporate environment.
- Functional HR Knowledge: Strong conceptual and working knowledge of Workday HCM core modules (Compensation, Talent, Benefits, Time Tracking, etc.) and Workday Security domains.
- Implementation Track Record: Proven experience deploying or heavily configuring Workday People Analytics from scratch is highly preferred.
- Data Literacy: Advanced skills in data synthesis, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Workday certifications in Reporting, Prism, or People Analytics.
- Experience working in an offshore/onshore model with flexible hours to accommodate overlap time with global teams.
- Solid project management skills using Agile or Scrum methodologies.
