We require a female personal caregiver for our adult daughter in our home in St. Norbert. The position will start October 1 and last until around November 31 (maybe longer). Hours will be Monday to Friday 10am to 5:30 pm. Pay rate is $23 per hour on an independent contractor basis. CRC and CAR required. Duties include daily exercises both physical and cognitive, incontinence care, feeding orally and through g-tube, bathing, transfers to and from wheelchair, bath stretcher and other equipment. The role can be physically demanding and requires a strong sense of empathy and awareness of basic physiology. Language and communication skills are extremely significant, as is punctuality. You will assist in water exercises on most days. You must also be comfortable with dogs.
