Fortress Building Products is a local distributor of windows and doors to local builders in Ottawa, the Valley and surrounding areas. We also complete warranty work on these products for the manufacturer and the builder. We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the installation and service of residential window and door products, a keen eye for detail, will thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at problem-solving and customer interaction while maintaining our high standards and commitment to quality workmanship. Main Responsibilities: • Installation, service, and repair of residential door, and windows. . • Ensure proper handling of window materials to prevent damage during transportation to site as well as storage on site and during the installation process. • Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, contractors, and installers to complete projects efficiently.



• Perform maintenance/ and service work on installed glazing products to ensure longevity and performance. Knowledge and Experience: • Must be neat, tidy, organized and articulate and be able to work well with others. • Prior experience in the residential Door and Window industry is a definite asset • Experience in both Installation and Service on Window/Glazing products. • Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing glass installations effectively. • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential for quality outcomes. • Mechanically minded. • Must speak and read English • Ability to lift 50lbs • Must possess a G class driver's license Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour (Based on experience) Schedule: Monday to Friday Education: Secondary School (preferred) Experience: Maintenance: 1 year (required) Please e-mail resume to Shaune at [email protected]
