We are a professional moving company looking for reliable, hardworking Moving Helpers to join our team immediately. This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. You will assist with loading, unloading, and safely transporting furniture and household goods. Key ResponsibilitiesHeavy Lifting: Constantly lift, carry, and maneuver heavy items (furniture, appliances, boxes) weighing up to 75+ lbs. Equipment Handling: Safely operate moving equipment including appliance dollies, hand trucks, ramps, and moving straps. Tool Operation: Efficiently use basic hand tools (screwdrivers, drills, wrenches) to disassemble and reassemble furniture (beds, tables, desks). Secure Loading: Wrap furniture in protective blankets, shrink-wrap items,
and pack the moving truck tightly to prevent damage during transit. Customer Service: Maintain a polite, professional attitude while working in clients' homes and commercial spaces. RequirementsMust be physically fit and capable of continuous heavy lifting and stairs.Proven experience using basic tools and moving dollies safely.Punctual, reliable, and able to respond quickly to on-call or short-notice shifts.Strong communication skills and ability to follow verbal directions.Prior professional moving experience is a major asset (and commands the higher pay scale). A valid Ontario driver’s license (G class) is a plus but not mandatory.
