We are currently seeking a full-time cellar-hand/brewing assistant to join our production team. If you are energetic, a self-starter and enthusiastic about craft beer, we invite you to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Carry out cellaring taskings including transfers and carbonation
- Package finished beer in keg and can formats
- Perform thorough sanitation of fermenters and bright tanks
- Conduct routine measurements of beer including carbonation levels, gravity and pH
- Conduct sensory evaluations
- Lift kegs up to 50 kgs.
- Organize and move packaged goods via forklift and pallet jack
- Occasional delivery driving as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Love of craft beer!
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter
- Work under minimal supervision
- Familiar with Microsoft excel and Word
- Familiar with Ekos is a bonus
- Ability to work 10 hour shifts
For the right person, this job could become a full-time brewing position with on the job training.
