2ND YEAR APPRENTICE MILLWRIGHT-A/B SHIFT-BROOKS, ABJBS Food Canada ULC (“JBS Canada”) is one of Canada’s largest beef processors. We are recruiting Apprentice Millwrights for our Brooks, Alberta facility which has the capacity to harvest more than 4,000 head of cattle per day.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRead blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work proceduresInstall, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power toolsInspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctionsInstall, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controlsAdjust machinery and repair or replace defective partsOperate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machineryClean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machineryConstruct foundations for machinery or direct other workers to construct foundationsAssemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.RequirementsCompletion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training2 or more years in a maintenance function; demonstrated experiencein hands‑on support of operations,
