The role will influence customer and investor experience improvements and help meet strategic goals.Management ResponsibilitiesPrimary Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee departmental targets including the collection and review of annual financial information, rent rolls, and operating statements from borrowersSupervise commercial analysts’ cash flows and decision‑making to mitigate riskProvide strategic leadership and decision makingBuild a high‑performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates the teamApply knowledge of commercial lending, underwriting, core loan documentation,
and CMHC expertise to lead the team in delivering post‑closing requirementsOversee post‑funding requests of commercial real estate securities and any amendments for review and approvalDemonstrate excellent leadership skills and qualities to build a high‑performing teamCreate a positive culture for staff growth, performance, and developmentCoach and develop staff, encouraging learning new skills and enhancing existing knowledgeManage mortgage servicing transactions and activities within stated service levels, both externally and internallyConduct quality reviews of day‑to‑day staff activitiesHandle escalations and determine root cause analysisManage all loan monitoring due diligence in a timely manner as required by CMHC and investorsProvide required documents and reports to investors to satisfy the servicing agreement between the investor and FNEnsure documents and reports meet internal policies and Investor Servicing Agreement requirements for all investor auditsEnable continuous improvement of processes and system utilization to enhance output and reduce unit costsLead to ensure long‑term optimal operational resultsComplete special projects assigned by the Assistant Vice President, Commercial Asset ManagementEnsure initiatives are executed and delivered on timeParticipate in the recruitment process, screen resumes,
