Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Digital and Enrolment Officer, the CISO will define and execute a comprehensive information security program that safeguards institutional data and computing resources, ensures regulatory compliance, and manages cybersecurity as a strategic risk.The CISO will oversee a team of security professionals and third-party service providers while serving as Humber's authority on cybersecurity frameworks, emerging threats, and AI‑related security risks and opportunities. This leader will provide expert counsel to the executive team, translating complex technical and regulatory landscapes into strategic guidance that enables Humber to pursue its academic mission with confidence. The role also represents the institution in external cybersecurity forums, government regulatory processes, and multi‑agency partnerships, requiring a leader who can operate simultaneously as a technical authority, executive advisor,



and governance leader.QualificationsAbout you:Education:Passionate about working at Ontario’s largest polytechnic; thrive on improving productivity and quality that contribute to team success.
