The incumbent provides direct patient/resident care and technical, administrative and operational support functions required as part of a multidisciplinary team approach. The incumbent maintains a safe workplace in line with professional and provincial guidelines, ensuring compliance with quality assurance programs and accreditation standards.ExperiencePrevious related experience preferred.EducationGraduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).Certification / LicensureMust maintain active registration with the CAMRT.Qualifications and SkillsWorking knowledge of Windows computer environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs preferred.Ability to follow oral and written instructions precisely with attention to detail.Effective oral and written communication skills in English.Ability to work independently and as a team member.Organizational and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships within a multidisciplinary team and with external agencies.Proficient analytical skills.Ability to work under pressure.Maintains confidentiality of all information entrusted to the position.Fluent language skills in French and English may be required.Ability to perform duties as described.Physical RequirementsNot ApplicableLegal and Equity StatementsShared Health values and supports employment equity and workplace diversity and encourages all qualified individuals to apply.
