Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing theft, and maintaining a secure workplace for staff, visitors, and assets. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents. Prior experience is a plus.

Duties
Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure safety protocols are followed
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations
Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as needed




Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
Enforce company policies and safety procedures to uphold a secure environment
Provide assistance to staff and visitors as required, including directions or emergency response support

Requirements
Security guard license and First aid CPR
Valid Driver's License and Car
Minimum 1 year of experience
Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
Solid observational skills with attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
Must be at least 18 years old with a clean background check

Job Type: Full time Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
