Job Summary

As an Edo Japan Team Member, you are responsible for providing friendly customer service while preparing and serving fresh, high-quality Japanese-inspired food in a rapid-paced restaurant workplace. You will work closely with other team members to ensure customers receive accurate orders, quality food, and a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
Take customer orders accurately and process cash, debit, and credit transactions.
Prepare food according to Edo Japan recipes, food-safety standards, and portion guidelines.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Assemble and serve customer orders accurately and promptly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
Follow proper food-handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Restock ingredients, supplies, and restaurant materials as needed.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and preparing the restaurant.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors during busy periods.
Handle customer questions and concerns courteously and seek assistance from a supervisor when necessary.




Follow company policies and procedures while contributing to a positive team environment.

Qualifications
Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is an asset but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, dependable, and willing to work as part of a team.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, reaching, and cleaning.
Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and order accuracy.
Adaptable availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Work Setting

This position is based in a rapid-paced quick-service restaurant in Okotoks, Alberta. Team Members may work in both front-of-house and kitchen areas and are expected to maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness, food quality, and safety.
