Join our team as a Red Seal Roofing Instructor on a contract basis, where your expertise will inspire and educate aspiring roofing professionals. Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive classroom instruction on roofing techniques, safety protocols, and industry standards tailored to Red Seal certification requirements
Facilitate practical training sessions that allow students to develop hands-on skills in roofing installation, repair, and maintenance
Assess student progress through evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey
Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with current industry practices and certification standards
Maintain a safe learning setting by enforcing safety procedures and promoting best practices in all training activities




Collaborate with program coordinators to schedule classes and ensure all training objectives are met efficiently
Support students in preparing for their Red Seal certification exams by offering guidance and review sessions

Qualifications
Valid Red Seal Certification in Roofing or equivalent recognized industry credential
Proven experience working in the roofing industry with extensive hands-on expertise
Prior classroom experience or teaching background is highly desirable
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage learners of diverse backgrounds
Demonstrated ability to develop instructional content that is transparent, detailed, and effective
Commitment to safety standards and best practices within the construction trades industry
Ability to motivate students and foster a positive learning environment
