Duties
Support lead plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
Assist with reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, assemble, and install plumbing components
Help with carpentry tasks related to plumbing projects such as framing or support structures
Participate in the assembly of plumbing systems following schematics and technical instructions
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Learn to read basic math measurements for exact installation and troubleshooting tasks




Support the team in welding or fabrication tasks when necessary for specialized pipework or fittings

Experience
No prior qualified experience required; however, construction experience or familiarity with trade work is a plus
Basic mechanical knowledge or understanding of plumbinf systems is beneficial
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and schematics enhances your ability to succeed in this role
Prior exposure to carpentry or maintenance work helps develop relevant skills for assisting on projects
Willingness to learn new skills such as blueprint reading, welding, or schematic interpretation is highly valued
Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, teamwork, and attention to detail is essential for success in this apprenticeship role
