Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and setting the tone for their visit
Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and providing menus promptly
Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, assisting with reservations or inquiries
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service flow
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold high standards of hospitality




Handle guest concerns or special requests courteously, striving to exceed expectations and resolve issues promptly

Requirements
Proven experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality roles within a restaurant or food service workplace
Robust communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
Knowledge of food service operations and restaurant procedures, including POS systems like Squirrel POS
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Previous restaurant experience preferred; hotel experience is a plus but not required
Basic understanding of food service safety standards and hospitality best practices
