We are seeking an experienced residential snow‑removal crew member to join our team on a part‑time or on‑call basis. Ideal for someone who knows winter operations, can work independently, and can perform basic equipment maintenance.
Duties
Explicit residential sidewalks, walkways, and driveways using shovels, blowers, sweepers, or small equipment
Apply ice melt when required
Perform basic equipment maintenance (fueling, greasing, blade checks, minor troubleshooting)
Respond promptly to call‑outs during snow events
Work safely and professionally in cold conditions
Communicate site issues or hazards.
Requirements
1+ year residential or commercial snow‑removal experience
Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends,
and holidays during snow events
Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in winter
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
Ability to operate snow blowers, sweepers, or similar equipment
Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment checks.
“on‑call” means:
Work only during snow events
Must be reachable and able to report within 30 minutes
Hours vary depending on snowfall
Chance for extra hours during heavy storms
Pay: $16.62-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
