(dba D/6 Bar and Lounge) is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join the team.This is a permanent full‑time position, 37.5 hours per week, $27.70 per hour, with eligibility for extended health and dental benefits after a 3‑month probationary period.Standard 7.5‑hour shift can be scheduled between 10 AM and 3 AM as required, with shift times varying weekly based on business needs.Position OverviewThe Restaurant Manager will provide functional leadership and will be directly responsible for all front‑of‑house operations as well as a la carte, catering/group sales, and beverage functions. The manager will help oversee all front‑of‑house staff and will work closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director. The manager will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and the financial performance of the facility.General ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintain management and employee morale and motivation, supervising all employee‑related policies.Oversee and direct all staff activities, ongoing training & personnel issues.Ensure successful achievement of all financial, quality and service goals.Act as a restaurant liaison with the surrounding community,



developing positive public relations for business development and maintaining an excellent reputation as an employer.Monitor and ensure the highest service standards throughout the organization.Ensure guest and employee satisfaction.Interact directly with customers to provide welcoming service and solicit feedback on food and service quality.Ensure the physical maintenance of the restaurant and catering facilities, including finishes, furniture, fixtures and equipment, inside the facilities and at the ancillary storage area.Monitor dining room and catering operations and assist in supervising private functions.Ensure ongoing training of all front‑of‑house staff for exceptional guest service aligned with operational standards.Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager or their designated representative.QualificationsCompletion of secondary school.Minimum 3 years of food & beverage management and supervisory experience.Strong leadership skills, recruiting, training and managing staff.Extensive food & beverage experience, sound judgment and knowledge of operations.Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including managing VIP clientele.Exceptional organizational and communication skills.Solid administrative skills including payroll, scheduling, ordering/inventory, and report generation.Flexible schedule, able to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays and extended shifts.English language proficiency required.BenefitsEligible for extended health and dental benefits after passing a 3‑month probationary period.Location39 Smithe Street, Vancouver BC V6B 0R3#J-18808-Ljbffr
