Originally incorporated in 1998; Rogers Electro-Mechanical has grown to become a leader in electric motor repair and sales. Servicing the mining, pulp and paper, forestry, marine and industrial sectors.

Position Overview The Labourer Position is a full time, day shift position located in Stewiacke, NS. This individual is responsible for completing all cleaning & painting tasks associated with the motor refurbishments. Some weekend and/or overtime may be required in order to meet tight deadlines. This position will require a self-motivated individual who takes pride in his/her work.

Responsibilities
Sandblasting, Steam Cleaning and Painting of various motor parts and components
Loading and Unloading bake oven on a daily basis
Loading and Unloading Rogers Trucks with Motors and other machinery components
Delivery duties to customers sites
Operate Forklift in a safe manner




Complete weekly equipment maintenance & daily inspections
Maintaining a clean & organized work area at all times
Supporting various tradesman on specific jobs when assistance is required

Requirements High School Diploma
High attention to detail
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
Strong communication, organizational and decision-making skills
Forklift Experience would be considered an asset
Previous Industrial Experience would be considered an asset
Previous Experience in a lean manufacturing process environment would be considered an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
