Duties
Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with medical orders and pharmacy protocols
Provide expert advice to healthcare specialists and patients regarding medication use, potential interactions, and side effects
Ensure proper medication storage, labeling, and documentation to maintain safety standards
Collaborate with medical teams to develop and review patient-specific medication plans
Monitor patient responses to medications, adjusting dosages as necessary under physician supervision
Educate patients on medication administration, adherence,
and health management strategies
Maintain detailed records of prescriptions dispensed, inventory levels, and regulatory compliance
Experience
Proven hospital experience working as a Pharmacist in an acute care setting
Experience with pediatric medication management and patient care is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and medication administration procedures
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care while managing multiple responsibilities
Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and regulatory requirements governing medication dispensing
