Duties
Greet customers warmly and assess their optical needs with enthusiasm and professionalism
Collaborate with optometrists when applicable
Assist customers in selecting frames, lenses, and accessories that suit their style, preferences, and prescriptions
Measure and fit eyewear accurately, ensuring optimal comfort and functionality
Manage laboratory processes including lens ordering, adjustments, repairs, and quality checks
Educate customers on proper eyewear care, lens options, and insurance advantages




Maintain detailed records of patient prescriptions, sales transactions, and inventory levels
Stay current with the latest optical trends, products, and technological advancements to provide expert guidance

Skills
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to eye health and vision care
Laboratory experience with lens fitting, edging, and adjustments to ensure precise results
Proven optical experience with knowledge of various lens types, coatings, and frame styles
Retail sales expertise with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales goals
Ability to operate optical software systems
Experience in retail management or supervisory roles is a plus for leadership opportunities
Excellent communication skills to educate clients clearly about their options and treatments
