We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual for the position of carpenter for concrete cribbing formwork . This role requires a versatile skill set in construction, with a focus on various trades including carpentry and concrete form work. The ideal candidate will have a robust mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed to high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
Installation and removal of concrete forms to prepare for pouring concrete.
Carry out carpentry duties such as framing and building structures.
Operate heavy equipment as needed for various construction tasks.
Maintain a clean and safe work workplace while adhering to safety protocols.
Handle heavy lifting as necessary throughout the course of daily duties.
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in construction trades.
Experience in rebar installation, masonry, carpentry, concrete forming, and finishing.
Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is essential.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Capability of performing tasks with attention to detail.
Must be able to lift heavy materials consistently throughout the workday.
A commitment to maintaining safety standards on all job sites.
CSTS2020, WHIMIS are required
Must be willing to work out of town for extended periods of time.
