Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using hand tools and power tools, then execute effective repairs swiftly.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference.
Assist in installing, upgrading, or replacing mechanical components and machinery as needed.
Conduct safety checks on all equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols to promote a secure work environment.
Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks based on operational needs and urgency.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests or emergency repairs to minimize downtime.

Requirements




Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in troubleshooting and repairing machinery or building systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., for various repair tasks.
Skilled in operating power tools safely and effectively for maintenance procedures.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, or diagrams related to mechanical systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward maintenance challenges.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly.
Prior experience in a maintenance or facilities role is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
