We are searching for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed French Bilingual Collection Officer with 5 or more years of experience in the industry.Acting as a change agent, the French Bilingual Collection Officer is responsible for accurately processing information and effectively negotiating and arranging payment terms. This position directly reports to the Operations Manager.We are recruiting for a full time representative within the Greater Toronto Area to work the schedule Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent service and ensure exceptional execution results in the collection of financial loansConduct collections calls for all past due accountsContact past due customers by phone, request payment & negotiate appropriate payment arrangements,



within authorized limits; Send correspondence to delinquent/collection customersUse defined procedures to arrange and coordinate firm payment arrangements within established risk policy for our collection customers; Assess and mitigate risk by referring accounts for further actionDocument call activity details in Collections system to reflect action taken; Update customer accountinformation with e.G. commitments to pay, amounts & dates, collection call updatesApply tact, diplomacy & resourcefulness; Handle objections& excuses, apply soft calling techniques, where appropriate, to effectively manage & control situationsPerform to regulatory standards and best practice on collectionsAchieve individual collection targets, in order to meet Department and Company goals; Maintain and submit reports for review by collection managementComplete other collection responsibilities, as assignedExperience/QualificationsExcellent oral and written communication skills for consistent collection callsGood math skills with the ability to perform basic calculations quicklyStrong organizational and time management skillsGood understanding of Microsoft Excel and OutlookAbility to adapt in a fast-paced environmentDesire to learn and further your careerCompensation:From$20.00/hr - $25.00/hrbased on experienceJoin a winning team today!We are an equal opportunity employer.
