About the Role

We're growing our insurance brokerage team and looking for a driven, client-focused Independent Insurance Broker to help expand our book of business, primarily in auto and home personal lines. This is a hunter role - you'll be responsible for actively generating and closing new business, not just servicing existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities
Prospect and generate current leads for auto and home insurance policies
Provide accurate, timely quotes to clients (same-day turnaround required)
Follow up consistently with prospective clients, including longer-cycle quotes
Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and referrals
Stay current on carrier products, rates, and underwriting guidelines
Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly recent business production targets
Collaborate with the broader team to support overall growth goals

Requirements
Communication Skills:



Strong verbal and written communication; comfortable explaining policy details clearly to clients
Computer Skills: Proficient with broker management systems, quoting software, and general office tools (Excel, email, CRM)
Hunter Mentality: Proven ability to prospect, network, and close current business -this is not a purely service-based role
Valid RIBO license (or willingness to obtain)
Bilingual/multilingual a plus (team speaks English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, and French)

Schedule Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Compensation

Salary + commission (commission structure discussed during interview)

Pay: $40,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
