YouthBar Medical Aesthetics is a nurse-led clinic focused on natural results and long-term skin health. We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Medical Aesthetician/Aesthetician to join our growing team. The ideal client will provide exceptional guest services, perform a variety of skincare treatments and promote our product lines and services.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about advanced skincare, personalized treatment planning, and working in a collaborative clinical environment.
Responsibilities
Perform advanced aesthetic treatments including but not limited to:
Microneedling Protocols
Chemical peels
Medical-grade facials
Dermaplaning
Laser treatments
Conduct thorough client consultations and develop customized treatment plans
Educate clients on homecare and skincare protocols
Maintain accurate and compliant client charting and photo documentation
Uphold strict sanitation and safety standards
Support retail product recommendations
Collaborate with nurse injectors on treatment planning
Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
Qualifications
Licensed Aesthetician (Nova Scotia certification required)
1–2+ years experience in medical aesthetics preferred
Experience with medical-grade skincare lines (asset)
Laser experience (asset)
Strong consultation and communication skills
Comfortable with EMR systems (Jane, Zenoti, etc.)
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
