We are looking for a teacher who:
Is passionate about helping students learn and grow at our learning centre.
Is highly responsible and committed to supporting students’ academic progress.
Is very familiar with the Ontario high school English curriculum and is also willing to teach younger students English.
Graduates from a Canadian university are preferred.
Has a degree in Math and Science field.
Track student progress regularly and communicate improvements or challenges to parents or guardians
Create a positive, encouraging setting that builds confidence and promotes active participation in learning
Collaborate with classroom teachers or school staff when necessary to align tutoring goals with curriculum standards

Qualifications
Proven experience working with children or in an educational setting, preferably with classroom or tutoring experience
Solid knowledge of math and science subjects, including advanced topics like computer science or computer skills




Passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically
Excellent communication skills to explain concepts clearly and motivate learners
Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning needs, including special education students
Familiarity with educational technology tools and software used for tutoring or classroom instruction
Prior experience in tutoring or teaching math and science is highly desirable
