The Finance Administrator keeps that information clean, current and reliable all year round.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Administrator provides day-to-day administrative support to the Finance team, with a focus on the maintenance and integrity of trip-related financial records. The role touches invoicing, expense and cash-advance reconciliation, supplier payments and data entry, and suits someone who takes genuine satisfaction in getting the details right.

Key Responsibilities
Enter invoices for trip-related and overhead costs




Verify the accuracy of trip financials in CRM.
Review, reconcile and verify guide expense reports
Reconcile cash advances with guides
Track pending guide expense reports and report on their status
Keep vendor payment information accurate and up to date
Process supplier payments per the established schedule
Prepare and reconcile the payment register
Enter financial transactions into the accounting system
Make bank deposits
Provide ad hoc support to the Finance team as needed

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Administrative experience in an office workplace
Proven accuracy in data entry
Experience with up-to-date financial systems.
A completed or in-progress business degree or diploma is preferred
Bookkeeping, hotel or tourism experience is an asset, though not required

Skills and Characteristics

Enthusiastic, professional and cooperative approach
