Western Midstream, a leading liquids carrier in Alberta, is seeking a Dispatcher to join the team on a full time basis. Based in Edmonton, AB, Western Midstream specializes in hauling products for the oil & gas and chemical industries with our diversified fleet of liquid tank trailers.

Western Midstream is seeking a well-rounded individual able to work in a fast-paced environment to join the operations team in Edmonton.

The position is full-time on a rotational basis. The position requires the ability to multi-task, establish priorities and make decisions. The successful candidate must have solid organizational, time management, interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary is based on experience and will be competitive with the market. A comprehensive benefit package is included, subject to completion of the standard 90-day probation.

Duties:
Coordinate and plan with operations management to dispatch the company’s resources and address customer needs effectively and efficiently.




Handle customer inquiries in a timely & skilled manner.
Ensure utilization of the driving fleet and dispatch via satellite system.

Skills and Qualifications:
Transportation industry experience and Alberta HOS knowledge
Effective verbal and written communications skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and email communications
Demonstrated ability to manage situations calmly and effectively
Demonstrated ability to actively manage multiple, concurrent projects
Positive attitude with great people skills, team player
High School diploma, post-secondary courses, training or diploma an asset.
