Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Early Childhood Educator to join our team on a casual basis. In this vital role, you will support the development and well-being of young children by creating engaging, secure, and nurturing learning environments. Duties
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote early childhood development
Support children’s social interactions, emotional regulation, and behavioral growth
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to care
Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices
Use computer skills to update records, document child progress, and communicate with families




Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized plans for children with special needs or disabilities

Experience
Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly preferred
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is an asset
Robust communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
Demonstrated organizational skills for managing classroom activities and documentation
Ability to operate computers and relevant software for record keeping and communication purposes
Proven time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently
Leadership qualities to guide children’s learning experiences confidently
Experience working with Out of School Care aged children preferred
ability to travel to our program in Leduc AND Beaumont would be ideal
