Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Assistant to join our educational team at our new centre opening December 2026. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in nurturing and education young children, fostering their social, emotional and cognitive development in a supportive and engaging workplace. The role involves educating and caring for children in their formative years, ensuring their social, emotional and cognitive development.

The Early Childhood

Assistant will work closely with children, parents, and staff to create an inclusive atmosphere that supports diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities
Assist in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Assess and monitor children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
Foster positive relationships with students, families and colleagues to promote a cooperative learning community.




Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning setting.
Encourage social skills development through group activities and play-based learning.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Participate in ongoing career development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements
Experience working in childcare
First Aid/CPR Level C
Vulnerable Sector Check
Availability 5 days a week
Excellent time management skills
Ability to write clear reports and documentation regarding student progress
Knowledge of special education strategies to assist with children with disabilities
Passion for educating young minds while fostering an inclusive environment for all students.
