Title: CNC Router Operator

Location: Langley, B.C.

Reports to: Plant Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

As the CNC Router Operator, you will be our ideal candidate if you are able to read and analyze blueprints, read G-Code, machine plastics, communicate material and/or program needs, and execute quality control.

The following are the available shifts: 1. Dayshift - Monday to Thursday 5:00am- 3:30pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Balance excellent secure working habits with a healthy sense of urgency
Set-up and operate various CR Onsrud CNC Router Machines
Determine tooling, tool-paths, setup methods and fixtures to produce parts in most productive manner Execute work orders relative to the scheduled due dates set by our scheduling department
Embrace collaboration, accept suggestions, and a mentality of continuous improvement
Organize the production area’s workflow
Ensure resources are effectively utilized




Be accountable for final product quality and documentation
Lead by example. Safety in production begins with you
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years’ experience required
Ability to show initiative and manage your time as part of a high-functioning team
Good English language communication skills; both written and verbal
