Duties
Thoroughly clean and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper food handling procedures
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, including counters, sinks, and workstations, adhering to health and safety standards
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support the kitchen staff
Ensure all dishware and kitchen equipment are stored properly after cleaning to promote efficiency and safety
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing




Follow established sanitation protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
Support the overall cleanliness of the restaurant or hotel dining area by assisting with waste disposal and organizing storage areas

Skills
Proven experience in cleaning or dishwashing within a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment
Robust understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with culinary staff and management
Prior experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus but not required
Demonstrated reliability with punctuality and a positive attitude toward hospitality service
