Local contractor requires capable and reliable carpenters and framers for a 50,000 square foot warehouse Project job in Squamish, BC.

Duties

· Layout, elevations, forming, pouring, finishing, and stripping of all structural footings, pedestal columns and walls.

· Forming and stripping of slab edges and required block-outs/openings.

· Layout, forming, and stripping of all tilt-up concrete wall panels.

· Supply and installation of bond breaker, lifting inserts,



and brace inserts for tilt panels.

· Supply of required engineered tilt-panel/formwork drawings.

· Installation of required embeds and anchor bolts supplied by others.

· Installation/forming of required large mechanical block-outs/openings.

· Provide required bracing installation and removal associated with the tilt panels.

· Provide hoisting required for the Contractor’s own forming materials and equipment.

· Provide standard formed concrete finish and patch form-tie holes where applicable.

· Maintain the work area in a clean and secure condition and dispose of Contractor-generated waste into dumpsters provided on site.

· Perform all work in accordance with applicable WorkSafeBC requirements and secure work practices.
