GNF Commercial Management Limited is hiring experienced welders to support civil, residential, and commercial construction projects across Halifax and the surrounding region.

In this role, you will perform fabrication, welding, and repair work on equipment and structural components, contributing to safe and effective project execution across active job sites and shop environments.

Responsibilities
Operate welding equipment using SMAW and FCAW processes
Perform torch cutting, tack welding, flame cutting, and pre-heating
Fabricate, weld, and repair equipment and metal structures
Conduct minor repairs and report deficiencies
Maintain communication with supervisors and team members
Keep work areas clean and organized




Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Support additional tasks as required on site

Requirements
Minimum 3 years of welding experience
Experience with SMAW and FCAW welding processes
Experience in construction or equipment repair environments preferred
Welding certifications are an asset
Safety certifications (WHMIS, First Aid, Fall Protection) are an asset
Physically capable of lifting, bending, and working in various conditions
Comfortable working in construction or shop environments
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
