Key Responsibilities

· Perform advanced diagnostics on vehicles.

· Accurately diagnose electrical, mechanical, drivability, and computer-related issues.

· Use scan tools, diagnostic software, oscilloscopes, and other specialized equipment.

· Interpret diagnostic trouble codes, live data, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer information.

· Complete repairs based on accurate diagnostic findings.

· Conduct inspections, maintenance, and mechanical repairs as required.

· Clearly document diagnostic findings, recommended repairs, and work performed.

· Communicate diagnostic results and repair recommendations clearly with the service advisors.

· Maintain a high standard of workmanship, safety, and professionalism.

· Stay current with evolving automotive technology, diagnostic procedures, and vehicle systems.

*Willingness to travel out of town for training

Required Qualifications





· Valid Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification – REQUIRED.

· Proven professional diagnostic experience – REQUIRED.

· Robust experience diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.

· Demonstrated ability to use qualified-level scan tools and diagnostic equipment.

· Robust understanding of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.

· Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical service information.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and efficiently.

· Valid driver's license.

· Own tools appropriate for the position.

Pay: From $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
