Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Class 4 Driver to join our team for after-school student pick-up services. This vital role involves safely transporting children from school to our Academy located at Lansdowne Centre in Richmond The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, responsible, and committed to providing a positive experience for young learners while demonstrating excellent driving and communication skills.

Responsibilities
Safely operate a commercial vehicle designated for student transportation during after-school hours
Pick up children from school campuses and deliver them to our Academy in a timely manner
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during transit by following safety protocols and traffic laws
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns
Maintain cleanliness and mechanical condition of the vehicle through regular inspections and reporting issues promptly
Keep accurate records of routes, pick-up times,



and any incidents or irregularities during transit
Assist with loading or unloading children when necessary, providing support as needed.

Skills
Experience working with children in educational, childcare, or caregiving settings
Robust customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and licensing requirements (Class 4 license)
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues
