We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work with a skilled team in a dynamic environment, utilizing both driving skills and equipment operation expertise.
Duties
Operate commercial trucks LCV to transport freight to Edmt and Saskatoon and or single trailers. Possibility for BC trips
Receive loaded trailers from warehouse and transport to destination warehouses.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle records, and documentation related to freight shipments.
Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle operational readiness.
Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and issues.
and LCV Certification, perfered clean abstract or with a maximum of 3 demerits
Minimum of 3 years verifiable hwy experience with no accidents or claims
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and running reefers
Robust understanding of transportation laws and regulations.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation.
Physical ability to unload freight with power jack, no actual physical labour
Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is highly desirable. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their ability to operate heavy machinery, handle freight securely, and maintain compliance with all transportation standards.
