On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for Java/Springboot/Python Developers x4 for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Java/Springboot/Python Developers x4 - Job Description:
The Software Developer plans, designs, develops, codes, and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and current products. This is a migration project involving the transition from Java to Java, dealing with a significant amount of legacy code with minimal documentation, and migrating from AWS to GCP.

Java/Springboot/Python Developers x4 - Responsibilities:
Revises and refines systems as required
Participates in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing, and ongoing support of business systems
Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation





Java/Springboot/Python Developers x4 - Mandatory Skills:
Must be able to apply SDLC concepts and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications
Solid communication skills are required as position will interact with business owners
6+ years of prior software development experience required

Java/Springboot/Python Developers x4 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with migration projects
Familiarity with AWS and GCP
Ability to work with legacy code
Robust problem-solving skills
Demonstrated teamwork abilities

Java/Springboot/Python Developers x4 – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position.
