Claims Specialist – Capital Projects

Location: Burnaby, BC

Contract Role | Pay: $65–75/hr (Inc.) or $53–61/hr (Term)

We're recruiting a Claims Specialist to support claims management, schedule analysis, and dispute resolution across generation, transmission, substation, and civil infrastructure capital projects.

What you'll do:
Assess entitlement, schedule impacts, and cost implications of contract changes, delays, and claims
Review baseline/progress schedules for delay risk, critical path impacts, and contract compliance
Conduct schedule and claims analyses using recognized delay analysis methodologies
Support negotiations, mediations, and adjudications with reports and analysis
Collaborate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Contract Managers, Project Controls, and Legal
Monitor and report on claims exposure and commercial risk

What you need:
Degree in Engineering,



Construction Management, Business, Law, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or related
12+ years in claims management, commercial management, or project controls on major construction/infrastructure projects
Robust CPM scheduling knowledge and industry-recognized delay analysis methods
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office
Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
Qualified certifications (an asset)

Pay: $65.00-$75.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
