Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with attention to quality and presentation
Operate Toast POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling transactions and cash register operations
Assist customers by taking orders (in person and drive through), answering questions about menu items, and providing exceptional service
Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, pastries, and other quick-service items in accordance with food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food handling stations and dining spaces
Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy,



including cashing out customers and balancing registers at shift end
Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and allergen awareness

Experience
Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
Robust time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
