Duties
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and thoroughly
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, sinks, and dishwashing stations to uphold health standards
Assist with organizing and storing clean items in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff
Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup
Follow proper food safety procedures during cleaning and handling to prevent contamination
Monitor dishwashing equipment for proper operation and report any malfunctions immediately




Ensure the dishwashing area remains organized, safe, and hygienic at all times

Skills
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Previous experience in restaurant or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Basic understanding of food handling and hygiene practices
Valuable physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
Excellent attention to detail to ensure all dishes are spotless and meet cleanliness standards
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn about food service operations
