Responsibilities

· Facilitate the classroom; assist students with the learning progress

· Guide students to work on different STEAM/STEM projects

· Review the curriculum before each session

· Help with curriculum development and provide feedback to improve curriculum quality.

· Ensure student's completion of the project and provide feedback to parents

· Provide homework support, and other tutoring services as needed

· Support a healthy, safe, and fun learning workplace

· Assist with outdoor activities

· Available to work from 2.30pm to 6pm Tuesday and Friday during school year (Avaiable for at least 2 or 3 days per week)

· Preferred to have class 5 driver license to drive and pick up students during school year from September until June

· Prefer Canadian/ PR Status University students

Qualifications





· Energetic and enthusiastic individuals

· Have some experience working with children

· Be able to create a protected, fun and engaging workplace

· Excellent communication skills, and teamwork skills

· Basic coding and technology knowledge (Python, HTML/CSS, Javascript, Robotics, or the ability to learn quickly) is an asset.

Job Types: Part time, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op

Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour
