APE Maintenance is seeking experienced Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technicians (Off Road) for Fort Hills site, North of Fort McMurray.

Fly-in-fly-out is offered from Calgary & Edmonton. Camp is provided

Working Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Provide technical diagnosis and perform maintenance on various makes and models of heavy to medium size mining equipment.
Perform equipment maintenance according to OEM standards, procedures and practices set out by industry and APE Maintenance.
Recording information related to maintenance repairs and work completed.
Communicate updates to supervisor to ensure goals are met.
Report all incidents, damage and near misses immediately.
Various other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
JM HET Certificate (Off Road)
Valid Class 5 Driver's License/Clean Driver's Abstract
Able to work independently and as part of a skilled maintenance team




Minimum of 4 years field-based experience is required with troubleshooting & repairing heavy duty equipment
Knowledge of site safety rules and regulations

Safety Training Prerequisites:
CSTS 09/ OSSA or BSO / CSO Orientation
Elevated Work Platform
Basic Rigging & Overhead Crane
Forklift Operator Certificate
WHMIS
Pre-Access D&A; Testing
