WHAT YOU’LL DO

Reporting to the Manufacturing Coordinator, the purpose of the Shipper/Receiver is to ensure with 100% accuracy that the correct type and quantity of parts, components and materials are recorded and in their correct locations, ready for production.

Key accountabilities include:

· Greet suppliers

· Accurately and efficiently monitor all inventory movements into and out of the plant

· Use location maps to identify and place items in correct storage locations

· Check that all items are received undamaged

· Package all outgoing shipments to ensure secure transportation by the scheduled shipping date

· Perform cycle counts

· Complete all receiving and shipping documentation

· Place priority items for production in the proper staging locations





· Maintain a clean work area

· Follow established procedures (safe operating procedures; quality procedures; work instructions)

· Share your ideas to contribute to process improvements

· Material handling experience within a manufacturing environment

· Experience with lean methodology is an asset
